The guiding principles of medicine died in Ireland recently and the country’s people are still in shock. The events came like a tornado that touched down with little warning decimating the trust and ethics of Ireland’s mainstream medical community and the country’s Health Service Executive (HSE). For those paying attention the chain of events was soberingly clear.
Mainstream corporate media outlets in Ireland attempted to soften the hearts and minds of the people with idea placement and gentle suggestions in an effort to prop up a failed HPV vaccine narrative. Like an abusive relationship with their audience, each mainstream media article became more and more offensive and exploitative. Something felt off when The Irish Times writer Conor Lally penned the article Concern at Fall in Uptake of Free Cervical Cancer Vaccine. Many wondered why the publication’s crime correspondent decided, after fourteen years with the outlet, to suddenly and uncharacteristically focus on the HPV vaccine. Upon reading Conor’s work it became clear that his puny 160-word fluff piece was nothing more than a computer-generated, ghost-written advertisement for the upcoming Irish Cancer Society’s public pro-vaccine talk. It should be noted that The Irish Times, the Irish Cancer Society and Ireland’s HSE are all still desperately clinging onto the untrue and abusive pharmaceutical talking point that any reaction from the HPV vaccine beyond a sore arm is all in the patient’s head.
As Ireland’s coordinated media blitz continued, those paying attention could feel the end of truth and trust was near. Not to be outdone by The Irish Times, The Irish Independent ran the historically arrogant and forever-damning headline Ignore Claims of Side-Effects-The HPV Jab Could Save Your Daughters Life. Written by Robert O’Connor, part of senior management at the Irish Cancer Society, his article shows a lack of real-world understanding of the failure of Ireland’s HPV program and the greater issues inherent within the shot. To O’Connor’s credit, he does admit in his article that “…families are fully within their rights to make this choice” [to vaccinate or not to vaccinate with the HPV vaccine]. However, his words about choice mean little when Ireland’s National Immunization Office was caught giving internal direction to schools and nurses performing the HPV vaccine immunizations to “not include a patient information leaflet” in the info given to parents when considering vaccination for the teenage daughters. The patient information leaflet lists scores of severe adverse reactions that are possible from the HPV vaccine and is required for full informed consent before the medical procedure. The known ill-health conditions listed on the HPV vaccine manufacturers patient information leaflet are exactly the ones being experienced by the scores of girls speaking up and being flatly ignored by the Irish Cancer Society and the HSE.
“Part of it [individual liberty/autonomy] is equally us being able to put in place a system where they [patients] have enough knowledge to undertake the decisions that are appropriate. Now that’s quite a paternalistic approach as well because actually what I’m saying is that I want to give them the knowledge to make the decisions I want them to make.”
-Dr. Kevin Kelleher, Assistant National Director HSE [2014]
The actual moment of medical flat-line was caught on camera in Galway, Ireland and its video quickly went viral over the internet. At the Irish Cancer Society’s public talk to a group of attendees, a 16 year old wheelchair-bound HPV-vaccine injured Irish girl publicly asked the question “Do you feel guilty knowing that girls like me cannot complete their schooling, and end up in wheel chairs, in constant pain? Dr. Margaret Stanley, the speaker who the question was directed at, paused and replied “No I don’t.” Who is Dr. Margaret Stanley? Stanley is a paid adviser and consultant to Merck Sharp and Dohme, GlaxoSmithKline and Sanofi Pasteur. The event’s livestream was purposely cut seconds before the teenage girl begin making her statements that ended in the “Do you feel guilty” question. Fortunately, someone in the audience recognized the livestream was being deliberately disabled by the organizers and began recording from their phone.
The Irish Cancer Society, who put on the Galway HPV talk, is funded by Merck who sponsors the charity’s public events and provides funding through donations. However sickening the conflict of interest is, the phenomenon is not specific to Ireland. It was reported recently that the American Cancer Society has also released a public statement expressing full support for HPV vaccination of all teenage boys and girls. The American Cancer Society proudly displays its top donors on its website. The majority of top donors are the usually suspects of Merck, Pfizer et al.
The public has turned its back on charity organizations, like the Irish Cancer Society, who receive funding from the makers and license holders of the vaccines they act as public mouthpieces to promote. Ireland’s HSE, whose motto is Care Compassion Trust and Learning, has shown none of these qualities in regard to their HPV vaccine and the injuries it has caused. In addition, the agency continues to allow the Irish Cancer Society to peddle their public racket to undermine the country’s medical ethics and impede the proper training, recognition and internationally established care for the mounting numbers of Irish teenage girls who have been injured by severe adverse reactions from the HPV vaccine. To date the HSE has not investigated any cases of HPV vaccine injury, set up any reimbursement programs for the ongoing medical care of the vaccine-injured teenage girls, trained its medical community on what to look for and how to report severe adverse reactions from the shot or had publicly admitted there has been any victims of their unethical vaccine program.
The HSE has appealed to authority by deferring its power and hopes of any further investigation to the conclusions of the European Medicines Authority (EMA) who found no issues with the HPV vaccine. The EMA report also ruled any reactions to the shot were psychosomatic (all in the patient's head). However, the EMA's report was rapidly dismantled for its inadequate nature and sloppy investigation. The Nordic Cochran Centre, representing the gold standard of global independent network of researchers, professionals, patients, carers, and people interested in health, also filed a public complaint to the EMA's report citing undisclosed conflicts of interest and excessive secrecy among other major issues.
